The first HA Viva rolled off the production line at Ellesmere Port on June 1, 1963 and due to demand at the 1964 motor show a second production line was started at Luton, Bedfordshire. By mid-July 1964 the 100,000th Viva had been built, only 10 months after introduction, the van proved just as popular and there were several derivatives and conversions of this. The Roma was the Dormobile version .
